STRUCTURAL AND
ENGINEERING FEATURES:
Sub-soil
investigation and soil composition shall be tested
using latest equipment. The design of foundation and
super structure shall be conducted by group of
highly experienced structural and foundation
engineers. Structure is capable of withstanding
earthquakes measuring 8 on the Richter scale. All
the design parameters related to structural design
will be based on the American standard of testing
Materials (ASTM) and American Concrete Institute (ACI)
codes. Best quality stone/brick (As per structural
design) shall be used for preparing the chips before
casting of foundation, column, beam, slab, stair,
lintel, etc. Where the Standard Ratio (As per
design) shall be strictly maintained providing
cylinder test result from BUET or House Building
Research and testing institute. 60G/40G (As per
design) Deformed rod shall be used in all the
members of the building, All the supplied Rod shall
be tested before using from BUET or House Building
Research And Testing Institute. Sylhet and local
sand of F. M. 2.5 and 1.5 (or as per design)
respectively shall be used with equal proportion
(1:1) and shall be tested before using from BUET or
House building Research and Testing Institute. First
class bricks shall be used in interior and exterior
wall after getting the expected test result from
BUET or House Building Research and testing
institute. Best quality cement shall be used in
casting, Bricks works, Plaster Work etc. and before
use shall be tested from the same institutes.
Rooftop covered with three inches thick lime
concrete where the ratio of the Chips, Lime and
Surkee shall be of 7:2:2.

CIVIL WORKS
Structure : The Building will be a framed structure of Reinforcement Cement Concrete (RCC).The building will be designed considering all adverse fectors.
External Wall : External wall will be of 5” thick solid brick/hollow concrete blocks construction.
Exterior Color : Exterior surface of the building will be painted with snowcem of elegant color.
Internal wall : Internal wall will be of 5'' thick solid brick/hollow concrete block constriction.
Interior Color : Cement plastered brick walls and ceiling will be painted with plastic paint.
Roof : Lime terracing on roof for protection of overheating.
Storage : Overhead storage space above toilets.
Floor : White Mosaic (Indian chips)/Locally made (RAK/Fuwang/equivalent) ceramic tiles
maximum size 12’’x12”.
Doors :
Main door of Shield Karai, Plastic door in
toilets and Solid timber (Gamari) in
verandah. Other doors will be Mehgani/Garjan/veneered
flush doors. Good quality imported lock, Security Chain and check
viewer will be provided at main entrance door.
Chow Kat : All chow Kat (6”X2.5”) will be of solid wooden finished with French Polish.
Windows : Aluminum works with 5 mm. thick foreign glass, grill with flat bar & provision of
mosquito net.
